Anonymous ID ("Ghost ID")
When you first open RunHub, we create a random ID for your device. Think of it like a library card number - it helps us remember your favorite events, but it doesn't tell us who you are. You can reset this ID anytime in the app settings.
Your Favorites and Preferences
We store which running events you've marked as favorites and your app preferences (like dark mode settings). This information stays on your device and syncs to our servers so you don't lose your favorites if you get a new phone.
What We DON'T Collect
We use your Ghost ID and favorites to:
Push Notifications (Firebase)
We use Google's Firebase service to send you notifications about your favorited events. Firebase may collect basic device information. You can disable notifications anytime in your device settings.

Advertisements (Google AdMob)
We show ads in the app to keep RunHub free. Google AdMob may use your device's advertising ID to show you relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings:
